(Updated 2-10-21): Cherokee County Public Health is pleased to announce the continuation of its COVID- 19 Vaccine Call Center that will be in operation starting at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 11th. Continue to use the link above to make an appointment for a COVID-19 Vaccine. We ask that you please not call Cherokee Regional Medical Center, your provider, or the Public Health offices as we are not staffed to handle the heavy call volumes generated and will not be able to schedule you for vaccination.

As information regarding new vaccine allotments and additional vaccination clinics becomes available, Cherokee County Public Health will provide details through Cherokee Regional’s website dedicated COVID-19 page, Cherokee Regional’s Facebook page, local area newspapers, KCHE radio, and other forms of communication throughout the communities we serve in Cherokee County.

COVID-19 is spreading throughout the US and is present in Iowa. Cherokee Regional Medical Center is asking patients to take precautions to help keep themselves and others safe! First, call your clinic or Cherokee Regional Medical Center if you have a fever, cough and shortness of breath. A health professional will conduct a phone screening, then advise you on further action.

Fill out this short Student Testing Request Form and then please call Cherokee Regional Medical Center Laboratory to schedule your Covid-19 test collection at 712.225.1514.

Visitor Restrictions at Cherokee Regional Medical Center

To protect our patients, families, healthcare workers and community during the pandemic outbreak of COVID-19 and to prevent further spread of the disease, visitor restrictions have been implemented. Current restrictions can be found here: [Download not found].
