Nursing Services

The Medical/Surgical Department is located on the 3rd floor. The nurses at CRMC are highly trained, caring professionals who take pride in the care they give to their patients. The nursing staff includes RNs and Certified Nurse Aides. All RN staff are certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Cardiac monitoring, postoperative, medical, pediatric, and skilled nursing care are provided in an area that is proud to provide private rooms for all patients. Safety and positive patient outcomes are high priorities for the inpatient nursing staff.

The Nurses Station and other areas of the 3rd floor have been remodeled to better handle the workflow of the individuals in the area, including the physicians, nurses, therapists, social workers, etc.

The DAISY (Diseases Attacking the Immune SYstem) Award is an international recognition program that honors and celebrates the skillful, compassionate care nurses provide every day. The DAISY Foundation was established by the family of J. Patrick Barnes after he died from complications of the auto-immune disease ITP in 1999. During his hospitalization, they deeply appreciated the care and compassion shown to Patrick and his entire family. When he died, they felt compelled to say “thank you” to nurses in a very public way. Please say thank you by sharing your story of how a nurse made a difference you will never forget!
